Operating Engineer - Critical Environments

What you'll do

• - Operate and maintain all data center systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• - Monitor and maintain electrical systems including UPS, generators, and switchgear.
• - Adjust HVAC equipment, boilers, ventilating systems, and water heaters for optimal performance.
• - Record equipment readings and respond promptly to alarms and alerts in building management systems.
• - Manage work orders through CMMS, coordinate with vendors, and address customer tickets.
• - Analyze system operations to identify problems or malfunctions and take corrective action.
• - Maintain a clean and safe workplace while complying with hazardous material policies.

What we're looking for

• At least 4 years of experience with systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.
• Technical expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or central utility plant operations.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center equipment.
• Proficiency in monitoring building management systems and responding to alerts.
• Experience managing work orders through CMMS and coordinating with vendors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders up to 30 ft, and working from heights.
