Critical Environment Operating Engineer

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain critical building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Monitor and adjust HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical equipment for optimal performance.
• Record system operations, identify issues, and take corrective action immediately.
• Manage work orders through CMMS and coordinate with vendors efficiently.
• Comply with emergency procedures and respond promptly to site emergencies.
• Maintain safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with standards.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data center or critical facility environments
• Expertise with mission-critical building systems such as UPS, generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting activities and technical information
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite, and CMMS applications
• Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights, and navigating rooftops
