Required skills include signal measurement, scope operations, and experience with circuit design. Preferred technical competencies include ARM architecture and familiarity with PCIe, I2C, DP/eDP/HDMI, USB-C, I2S, and SATA protocols to solve complex hardware integration challenges.

What you'll do

  • Develop notebook features in collaboration with multi-functional internal teams.
  • Create technical collateral including design guides and application notes for notebook products.
  • Provide technical support during the development, testing, and production phases of notebooks.
  • Perform hardware design reviews of schematics, PCBs, and PDNs to ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Execute installation, configuration, debugging, and bring-up of customer notebook hardware.
  • Analyze data to reproduce errors and resolve or escalate complex customer issues.
  • Supervise, file, and reproduce bugs as needed during the engineering process.

What we're looking for

  • BS or higher in EE, CE, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience with notebook hardware and circuit design.
  • Extensive knowledge of notebook hardware, power, thermal, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in signal measurement and scope operations.
  • Good knowledge of X86 System Architecture.
  • Professional-level interpersonal skills to communicate technical information across different audiences.
  • Ability to perform hardware design reviews including schematic, PCB, and PDN.
  • Familiarity with Linux is an advantage.
