Senior Hardware Application Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide onsite and offsite technical support to resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues for enterprise customers.
• Support OEM partners through their design, validation, and production flows for server hardware.
• Perform hardware debugging using oscilloscopes and analyzers to qualify and validate products for customer systems.
• Analyze customer data to reproduce errors, resolve technical issues, and escalate problems when necessary.
• Review customer designs regarding architecture, thermal, mechanical, schematic, layout, and signal integrity.
• Develop technical collateral including product specifications, hardware design guides, and application notes.
• Resolve system integration issues related to PCIe, GPU interconnects, and out-of-band management services.
• Create platform configuration guides for x86 and ARM servers based on HPC and AI workload requirements.

What we're looking for

• BS or higher in EE, CE, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise datacenter products for x86 or ARM architecture.
• Experience using Cadence Allegro Schematic Design Entry and Allegro PCB Layout tools.
• Proficiency with lab tools including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of power integrity, signal integrity, and high-speed board design methodologies.
• Understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for server design, including BMC, security, and out-of-band management.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to various audiences.
• Previous experience as an application engineer or in a customer-facing role (preferred).
