As a Network Software Integration Engineer (Starlink), you will join the Starlink program team to develop fast, versatile integrated testing infrastructure that rethinks traditional CI/CD pipelines. The role requires proficiency in Python, C++, Linux operating systems, bash scripting, and containerization frameworks like Docker and K8s. You will also utilize knowledge of OSI model layers 2 and 3 while working with hardware tools such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes to ensure network reliability.

What you'll do

Develop fast and reliable integrated test systems architecture for the Starlink network.
Create dynamic end-to-end testing solutions across multiple teams.
Debug software and network failures in hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
Identify and resolve testing coverage gaps across the global network.
Build tools for software deployment, data analysis, and visualization across various environments.
Execute tests across virtualized hardware, real hardware simulations, and on-orbit systems.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure system quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related science discipline.
At least 2 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with programming in Python and/or C++.
Knowledge of containerization frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and bash scripting.
Hands-on experience with OSI model layers 2 and 3.
Familiarity with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and PCBAs.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
