As a Network Software Integration Engineer (Starlink), you will join the Starlink program to develop fast and versatile integrated testing infrastructure that rethinks traditional CI/CD pipelines. You will utilize Python, C++, Linux, bash scripting, and containerization frameworks like Docker and K8s. The role requires expertise in OSI-model layer 2 and 3, as well as experience with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes to solve complex network integration problems for the global satellite internet system.

What you'll do

Develop fast and reliable integrated test systems architecture for the Starlink network.
Deliver dynamic end-to-end testing solutions across multiple engineering teams.
Debug software and network failures in hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
Identify and resolve testing coverage gaps across the global network.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews for network software.
Develop tools for software deployment, data analysis, and test execution across various environments.
Validate and deploy network features through end-to-end integration environments to find regressions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, physics, or science discipline.
2+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree.
Development experience in Python and/or C++.
Developed, debugged, and deployed software that has been used in real world applications/project (preferred).
Knowledgeable in containerization frameworks (Docker, K8s) and associated tooling (preferred).
Strong understanding of Linux Operating Systems and bash scripting (preferred).
Hands on experience with working with OSI-model layer 2 and 3 (preferred).
Hands-on lab experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, electrical power equipment and PCBAs (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
