The Network Operations Center (NOC) Network Monitoring Lead joins the BIM team to modernize Air Force Base infrastructure by providing monitoring solutions that reduce network downtime. You must use scripting for automation, translate KPIs into customized alerts, and create reports centered on Service Level Agreements. Required skills include network enterprise operations, OSI Model knowledge, and the ability to present technical materials to senior leaders.

What you'll do

  • Lead the integration of network monitoring and management tools to ensure service level availability.
  • Build and enhance the BIM monitoring solution in coordination with engineering and design teams.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure observability tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Translate BIM KPIs and KQIs into customized operations center alerts and service level awareness.
  • Create and customize dashboards and reports centered on specific Service Level Agreements.
  • Use scripting abilities to develop automation and improve operational efficiency.
  • Interface with government senior leaders to represent company interests and technical requirements.

What we're looking for

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain Security Plus CE certification.
  • 5+ years of related experience in network enterprise operations.
  • Technical training, certification, or degree is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation, network monitoring, and general networking concepts like the OSI Model and VPNs.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining observability tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Experience with Cisco Provider Connectivity Assurance (PCA) (preferred); HPE Service Orchestrator and Intelligent Assurance knowledge (preferred); ITIL V3/4 Foundation (preferred).
