What you'll do

Monitor the health and connectivity status of the physical layer Transport supporting the DODIN 24/7.
Report current connectivity status and outages to DJOC Battle Captains and DISA senior leaders.
Track real-time outages including fiber cuts, equipment failures, and facility outages.
Provide technical recommendations to the Battle Captain regarding routing options to restore warfighter resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the status and restoral processes of Internet Access Points and Trans-Oceanic Trunks.
Conduct initial analyses of reported outages and notify the Battle Captain within 15 minutes.
Create network topologies and architecture diagrams as required.
Perform duty functions at off-site facilities as part of the Emergency Readiness Group.

What we're looking for

Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 4 years of overall related experience.
Experience with Microsoft technologies including MS Office 2013 and SharePoint.
Experience with system applications such as GTMS, WWOLS, NCCM-R, or TCOSS.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ce (preferred).
Experience with support applications such as MADSS, INMS, DCO, SKIWEB, or ITIL V3 (preferred).
Demonstrated experience in briefing Senior Leaders and providing excellent customer service (preferred).
