What you'll do

Design, build, and implement network systems for LAN, MAN, and WAN environments.
Monitor and diagnose network issues to address connectivity problems and optimize operations.
Analyze network traffic patterns and provide capacity planning solutions for infrastructure growth.
Perform system-level design and configuration, determining hardware specifications to meet operational requirements.
Evaluate and test new and existing network products to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Provide technical assistance and oversight across all network operations, including LAN/MAN/WAN administration.
Identify opportunities for network optimization and implement improvements to maximize performance and security.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience in network engineering and infrastructure design.
DOE Q or TS clearance required.
Deep knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and network security practices.
Expertise in TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
Experience with DISA STIGs and other federal compliance standards.
