TL;DR · Multi-Domain Mission Capabilities Lead, Multinational Digital Infrastructure

The Multi-Domain Mission Capabilities Lead, Multinational Digital Infrastructure joins the Multinational Digital Infrastructure team to develop and sustain critical infrastructure for maritime platforms. This role involves designing and deploying a full-stack expeditionary digital infrastructure including network architecture, edge compute, data services, and classification boundaries in contested environments. The individual will build robust systems that enable coordinated multi-domain operations across undersea, surface, air, and space domains where communications are often denied or degraded. Key responsibilities include creating deployment playbooks, managing the management plane for forward-deployed nodes, and ensuring seamless data flow between local infrastructure and sovereign clouds. Required expertise includes tactical networking, mesh architectures, SATCOM integration, containerized services, and systems engineering. The role addresses the technical challenge of transforming disparate autonomous platforms into a unified, coordinated warfighting system across international maritime domains.

What you'll do

  • Define the full-stack reference architecture for network, edge compute, data services, and classification boundaries in expeditionary environments.
  • Design a software-defined transport architecture that unifies acoustic, RF, SATCOM, and tactical datalinks into a single system.
  • Architect edge computing and data processing pipelines to manage sensor fusion and local analytics without persistent backhaul.
  • Develop and execute deployment playbooks to establish repeatable infrastructure for multi-domain maritime operations.
  • Manage the management plane for remote nodes to monitor health, push updates, and rotate credentials in disconnected conditions.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority during field exercises to ensure infrastructure supports coordinated mission objectives.
  • Represent the company to Navy and AUKUS partners to translate operational requirements into technical strategies.
  • Drive technical alignment across internal teams to establish common integration patterns and networking standards for maritime platforms.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture, systems/infrastructure engineering, and operational deployment of mission-critical digital systems.
  • Proven track record of deploying and owning the outcome of complex digital infrastructure in field environments and exercises.
  • Deep expertise in tactical networking including contested communications, mesh architectures, SATCOM integration, and software-defined transport.
  • Strong systems engineering skills across compute, containerized services, and data pipelines for forward-deployed environments.
  • Experience designing and operating infrastructure in disconnected or intermittently connected environments.
  • Experience integrating heterogeneous autonomous or unmanned platforms with varying communication constraints and capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex system architecture effectively to both technical engineers and high-level military leadership.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
