TL;DR · Multi-Domain Mission Capabilities Lead, Multinational Digital Infrastructure

The Multi-Domain Mission Capabilities Lead, Multinational Digital Infrastructure joins the Multinational Digital Infrastructure team to architect and deploy expeditionary digital infrastructure for maritime platforms. This role involves designing a full-stack reference architecture encompassing network, edge compute, data services, and classification boundaries to enable coordinated multi-domain operations in contested environments. The individual will build deployment playbooks, manage the management plane for forward-deployed nodes, and ensure system resilience during communications-denied scenarios. Key technical requirements include expertise in tactical networking, mesh architectures, SATCOM integration, software-defined transport, and containerized services. The role addresses the challenge of creating a unified network architecture for autonomous fleets across undersea, surface, air, and space domains. Essential skills include systems engineering, sensor fusion, and experience with acoustic modems, RF, and various tactical datalinks to solve complex infrastructure problems in austere locations.

What you'll do

  • Define the full-stack reference architecture for maritime network, edge compute, data services, and classification boundaries.
  • Design a software-defined transport architecture integrating acoustic, RF, SATCOM, and tactical datalinks.
  • Architect the edge compute layer to manage workloads and data processing in disconnected or degraded environments.
  • Deploy and manage the entire expeditionary infrastructure stack during field exercises and customer integration events.
  • Create repeatable deployment playbooks and procedures for standing up infrastructure in new locations.
  • Manage the management plane for remote nodes, including monitoring, patching, and credential rotation without persistent connectivity.
  • Establish common interfaces and networking standards across multiple maritime platform teams through direct technical contribution.
  • Represent the company to Navy and AUKUS partners to translate operational requirements into technical strategy.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture, systems/infrastructure engineering, and operational deployment of mission-critical digital systems.
  • Proven track record of deploying complex digital infrastructure in field environments, exercises, or operational settings.
  • Deep expertise in tactical networking including contested communications, mesh architectures, SATCOM integration, and software-defined transport.
  • Strong systems engineering skills across compute, containerized services, and data pipelines in forward-deployed environments.
  • Experience designing and operating infrastructure in disconnected or intermittent environments using edge compute and store-and-forward data movement.
  • Experience integrating heterogeneous autonomous or unmanned platforms with varying communication constraints and processing capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex system architecture effectively to both high-level military leadership and technical engineers.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
