What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain HITL simulation infrastructure for complex aerospace systems.
  • Own end-to-end configuration and operation of SITL and HITL environments for test vehicles.
  • Coordinate and execute HITL test campaigns to validate GNC algorithms before live flights.
  • Develop emulated interfaces for on-board avionics systems to enable closed-loop hardware testing.
  • Troubleshoot real-time simulation issues during HITL operations, including timing constraints and model fidelity discrepancies.
  • Support flight test operations with pre-flight simulation validation and post-flight data correlation analysis.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior Modeling Simulation Engineer or equivalent technical expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) and Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) simulation operations.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language for software development and integration.
  • Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems, including rotorcraft/VTOL and subsea vehicles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot real-time simulation issues and maintain high-fidelity vehicle models.
