What you'll do

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ML software engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Define and drive the technical vision for music recommendation and personalization systems.

Partner with Research, Engineering, and Product teams to align on requirements and system design.
Communicate project status, technical tradeoffs, API designs, and architecture to various stakeholders.
Recruit and develop top engineering talent to maintain high standards of excellence and diversity.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
5+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality software products.
Hands-on experience designing and shipping products in the recommendation systems space.
Strong computer science fundamentals and system design experience.
Deep understanding of modern recommendation system architectures and trade-offs at scale.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and end-to-end ML model development lifecycles.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical tradeoffs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
