What you'll do

  • Design, conduct, and participate in operational rehearsals for satellite systems.
  • Coordinate and participate in all launch, early operation, and critical mission activities.
  • Develop concepts for OISL network operations for various missions and experiments.
  • Analyze system data to identify and implement mechanisms for performance improvements.
  • Drive automation efforts to ensure constellation peak performance with minimal manual intervention.
  • Develop and execute integration vehicle test plans.
  • Coordinate between ground, network, and space systems engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements (preferred).
  • Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates.
