  • Inform product roadmaps and investment decisions by building the operational case for engineering priorities.
  • Translate threat environments and campaign-level contexts into defensible requirements for product and engineering teams.
  • Evaluate trade-offs in mission utility, feasibility, and cost to determine which programs should be pursued or declined.
  • Convert results from field tests and at-sea demonstrations into actionable lessons that influence the product roadmap.
  • Serve as a translator between customer needs, operational requirements, and technical engineering implications for internal stakeholders.
  • Brief senior military leaders and corporate executives on operational objectives under direct and rigorous questioning.

What we're looking for

  • Must have maritime operational planning experience at the unit, strike group, numbered fleet, or command level.
  • Must have experience tactically employing AUV capabilities or equivalent autonomous systems.
  • Must be able to brief and defend operational objectives and platform capabilities before senior military and civilian decision-makers.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to translate between customer language, operational needs, product strategy, and engineering implications.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to various sites and at-sea events.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience supporting maritime, undersea, or autonomous systems mission areas.
  • Preferred: Experience with watch floor operations, at-sea deployments, or obtaining a Top Secret clearance.
