Member of Technical Staff Data Flywheel Infra

What you'll do

• Build scalable infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and serving first-party and third-party data for model training.
• Integrate governance, security, and compliance features like PII detection and usage rights into the data platform.
• Develop automated pipelines for data filtering, deduplication, quality scoring, and semantic enrichment.
• Create feedback loops that convert model failures and evaluation results into actionable data improvement tasks.
• Build synthetic and AI-native data pipelines using LLMs and agents to automate labeling and validation.
• Establish metrics and infrastructure to monitor dataset quality, diversity, and policy compliance.
• Maintain clear provenance between human-created, third-party, and model-generated data categories.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree plus 3 years of experience in relevant fields, or a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in software engineering using Python, SQL, and Spark/Flink/Ray.
• Experience building AI training-data governance platforms including provenance, licensing, PII handling, and policy enforcement (preferred).
• Experience managing third-party datasets with complex contractual and usage restrictions (preferred).
• Experience building privacy- and security-aware systems for first-party product or user data (preferred).
• Experience with data clean rooms, privacy-preserving processing, de-identification, or confidential computing (preferred).
• Experience building evaluation to failure mining to data generation feedback loops (preferred).
• Experience with synthetic data, model graders, reward signals, and multimodal or agentic datasets (preferred).
