JOB TITLE: Mechatronics Engineer
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to developing lithography systems for microchip production. You will specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test modules, tools, and system-level solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Your daily responsibilities include identifying technical requirements, developing engineering concepts, and managing technical tradeoffs to meet performance, cost, and safety needs. You will define specifications, align interfaces, and execute verification and validation activities to ensure release readiness. The role requires expertise in control theory, structural dynamics, mechanical design, and vibrational analysis. You will manage configuration needs, estimate effort, and maintain accurate technical documentation. This position solves complex mechatronics engineering problems to enable the production of faster, cheaper, and more energy-efficient microchips through advanced lithography technology.
Specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test mechatronics modules and system-level solutions.
Identify, analyze, document, and manage technical requirements with full traceability and verification criteria.
Develop engineering concepts and technical tradeoffs to meet performance, cost, schedule, and safety needs.
Define specifications and high-level designs while aligning interfaces for reliable downstream integration.
Coordinate dependencies and manage configuration needs to support smooth system and product integration.
Plan and execute verification and validation activities to ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness.
Estimate effort, plan work, and manage risks to deliver projects within agreed quality and timelines.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow EHS policies to mitigate safety risks.
What we're looking for
BS degree in a technical field and 2+ years of solid experience.
MSc degree (preferred).
Ability to identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability and align interfaces.
Ability to develop mechatronics concepts and solutions with a deep understanding of control theory, structural dynamics, mechanical design, and vibrational analysis.
Ability to plan and execute verification and validation activities to ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness.
Ability to translate technical goals into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
Ability to build effective teams by establishing clear goals, roles, trust, and accountability.
Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations.
