Mechanical Install Engineer - EUV
As part of the Customer Support organization, you will serve as an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to bring advanced lithography systems into production at customer sites. You will be responsible for installing, relocating, upgrading, and optimizing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment within cleanroom environments. Your daily work involves assembling and qualifying subsystems, performing recovery activities, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues to ensure peak performance. To succeed, you must utilize skills in technical troubleshooting, data analysis tools, and the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications. The role addresses the critical challenge of manufacturing high-performance microchips by maintaining sophisticated lithography systems. You will leverage expertise in vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision alignment to resolve technical challenges while ensuring all installations comply with strict safety and quality requirements for semiconductor production.
Install, relocate, de-install, assemble, and qualify lithography systems and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
Execute system upgrades, modifications, and recovery activities according to technical specifications.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues to ensure optimal performance.
Analyze system performance and verify compliance with engineering, safety, and quality requirements.
Complete technical documentation, service reports, work orders, and project handovers accurately and on time.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, electronics, or a related technical field.
Associate degree, technical degree, military technical training, or two years of practical experience may be considered with relevant industry experience.
Minimum one year experience in field service, semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation, high-technology manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or similar environments.
Minimum one year experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
Minimum one year experience using data analysis tools, spreadsheet software, and technical reporting applications.
Minimum one year experience reading technical documentation, engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
Work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
