As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer within the Customer Support organization, you will play a vital role in bringing advanced lithography systems into production at customer sites. You will be responsible for installing, relocating, upgrading, and optimizing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure high performance and productivity. Your daily work involves assembling and qualifying subsystems in cleanroom environments, executing system modifications, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues. To succeed, you must utilize skills in data analysis, technical reporting, and the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires expertise in vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision alignment to solve critical manufacturing challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure all installations meet strict safety, quality, and engineering requirements while maintaining accurate documentation for project handovers.
Install, relocate, de-install, assemble, and qualify lithography systems and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
Execute system upgrades, modifications, and recovery activities according to technical specifications.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues to ensure optimal performance.
Analyze system performance and verify compliance with engineering, safety, and quality requirements.
Complete technical documentation, service reports, work orders, and project handovers accurately and on time.
Identify improvement opportunities that increase safety, efficiency, and performance for lithography equipment.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, electronics, or a related technical field, or two years of practical experience.
Associate degree, technical degree, military technical training, or two years of experience may be considered with relevant industry experience.
Minimum one year experience in field service, semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation, high-technology manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or a similar technical environment.
Minimum one year experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
Minimum one year experience using data analysis tools, spreadsheet software, and technical reporting applications.
Minimum one year experience reading technical documentation, engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, precision alignment, or related technologies (preferred).
Work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
