Mechanical Building Engineer - Critical Environment (Night Shift)

What you'll do

• Conduct daily inspections of HVAC equipment, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and cooling systems.
• Monitor mechanical parameters like temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to detect abnormalities.
• Execute basic preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment following safety protocols.
• Assist with routine maintenance activities such as filter changes and belt inspections under supervision.
• Support chilled water systems, air handling units, and cooling towers while learning thermal management principles.

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of technical experience in building mechanical systems with HVAC or plumbing background
• At least 1 year of experience in data center or critical facility environments preferred
• Universal EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals and basic troubleshooting techniques
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving heights, heavy lifting, and extreme temperatures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for documentation and team collaboration
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and computerized maintenance management systems
