Mechanical Building Engineer - Critical Environment

What you'll do

• Conduct daily inspections of HVAC equipment, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and cooling systems.
• Monitor mechanical parameters like temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to detect abnormalities.
• Execute basic preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment following safety protocols.
• Assist with routine maintenance activities such as filter changes and belt inspections under supervision.
• Participate in troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic procedures and problem-solving techniques.

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of technical experience in building mechanical systems with background in HVAC or related fields
• Universal EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
• Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals including HVAC principles and troubleshooting techniques
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving heights, lifting heavy objects, and working in extreme temperatures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for accurate documentation and team collaboration
• Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and MS Office Suite
