Sr. Mechanical Building Engineer - Critical Environment

What you'll do

• Lead comprehensive operations and maintenance of critical mechanical infrastructure including HVAC systems.
• Execute advanced diagnostics on complex mechanical equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure 100% uptime across all mechanical infrastructure.
• Analyze system performance data to reduce Power Usage Effectiveness and enhance sustainability.
• Coordinate complex mechanical infrastructure projects, including upgrades and integration of new technologies.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 mechanical issues requiring advanced expertise.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in critical facility mechanical engineering with expertise in HVAC and complex cooling systems.
• At least 3 years specialized experience in data center environments with advanced technical knowledge of CRAC/CRAH systems and chillers.
• Current Universal EPA 608 Certification demonstrating expertise in refrigeration and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical system challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience guiding technical teams to drive operational excellence.
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds, work at heights up to 30 feet, and operate in extreme temperature conditions.
