JOB TITLE: Materials Scientist – ALD Coating Technology
The Materials Scientist – ALD Coating Technology joins the ALD Coating Technology team within the Materials Center of Excellence. This role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for the development, productization, and commercialization of ALD coatings for hardware and processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing material engineering projects, performing hardware characterization on complex systems, collecting and analyzing data, and troubleshooting engineering issues. The position requires expertise in ALD coatings, including metals, oxides, and fluorides, as well as surface chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and corrosion or erosion analysis. You will define and validate material measurement techniques, generate technical documentation, and collaborate with senior leadership to solve high-value problems regarding device performance, yield, and cost of ownership in semiconductor and display manufacturing.
