Manufacturing Security Operations Manager

What you'll do

• Manage daily security operations and supervise internal staff and contracted guard forces at the manufacturing site.
• Lead immediate responses to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies while conducting preliminary investigations and documentation.
• Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of physical security technologies including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop and enforce physical security policies, procedures, and post orders aligned with company standards.
• Enforce robust access control protocols for personnel, vehicles, and materials entering or exiting the facility.
• Manage transportation security protocols to ensure supply chain integrity for sensitive materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through regular audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with internal departments like HR, Facilities, and EHS to integrate security into operational workflows.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in physical security management for large-scale manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing and leading teams of security officers and contracted guard forces.
• Hands-on experience operating and monitoring CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Demonstrated experience in incident response, investigation, and reporting within an operational context.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASIS), defense manufacturing experience, and knowledge of lean manufacturing are preferred.
