What you'll do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Global Supply Managers through structured career growth plans.
  • Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies for softgoods materials aligned with product roadmaps and operational goals.
  • Manage executive-level relationships with global suppliers to ensure supply continuity, quality, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead high-value cost negotiations and oversee the team's cost governance and risk identification framework.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and execution for material development, capacity expansion, and plant qualifications.
  • Manage material operations schedules, including production ramps, capacity build plans, and manufacturing readiness gates.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled tools and process improvements across cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure seamless product scaling.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 10+ years of professional experience in global operations, supply chain management, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience directly managing, mentoring, and developing professional teams including performance management and career growth plans.
  • Proven track record of establishing and managing senior executive relationships with international suppliers.
  • Experience defining long-term supply chain strategies and managing team workload, project allocations, and supply initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of value-added manufacturing processes, cost engineering (should-cost modeling), and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading commercial agreements, contract and cost negotiations, supplier financial assessments, and risk mitigation tactics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Science, or similar) or Business/Operations.
  • Preferred experience in advanced materials manufacturing such as softgoods, textiles, adhesives, polyurethane, or related cosmetic materials.
