JOB TITLE: Manager, Product Manager- Digital Wallet Experiences Lead (Emerging Payments)
The Manager, Product Manager- Digital Wallet Experiences Lead (Emerging Payments) joins the Emerging Payments - External Integrations team to oversee third-party payments products and experiences. This Manager level role focuses on the customer-facing frontend for Digital Wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and Paze. You will own frontend placements across the mobile app and website, leading the strategy to elevate wallet experiences and drive adoption. Key responsibilities include managing the Apple Pay integration, identifying friction points, and leading a high-performing engineering team to deliver a vision for enrollment and self-service flows. You will utilize skills in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, and data science to solve complex problems within the payments industry, specifically regarding network tokenization and external integrations.
Own the frontend placements and experiences for third-party Digital Wallet products across mobile and web platforms.
Lead the strategy for elevating Digital Wallet experiences and driving customer awareness across the Capital One ecosystem.
Manage the direct integration and relationship with Apple Pay.
Create and execute a vision for future-state wallet enrollment and self-service management flows.
Lead a high-performing engineering team to deliver the product roadmap and technical requirements.
Partner with backend teams to champion the end-to-end experience for Digital Wallets and Network Tokenization.
Engage with external partners to define shared feature development and roadmapping for external platforms.
Identify opportunities to expand Digital Wallet access while mitigating customer friction and security risks.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, Business, Marketing, or a Bachelor's degree in any field with 3 years of Product Management experience.
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products (preferred).
1+ year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering (preferred).
3+ years of experience with Payments Industry, Digital Wallets, or Network Tokenization (preferred).
5+ years of experience in Product management (preferred).
Ability to lead a high-performing engineering team and manage product roadmaps.
Proficiency in human-centered design, business focus, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership.
Ability to engage directly with external partners on shared feature development and roadmapping.
