What you'll do

  • Define capabilities, contracts, and standards for payment rails including ACH, Wire, RTP, FedNow, and Check.
  • Develop and manage the technical backbone of the payments ecosystem to ensure reliable transaction settlement.
  • Design and maintain the SDK that governs how payment events flow across various channels.
  • Build orchestration layers to ensure transactions complete reliably or compensate gracefully in case of failure.
  • Manage observability and resiliency infrastructure to support hundreds of millions of transactions at scale.
  • Define developer experience, API contracts, and integration patterns for internal and external technical partners.
  • Translate complex platform investments into clear business value for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Negotiate architectural tradeoffs with engineers while aligning product strategy with broader corporate goals.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, must have a Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience.
  • Must possess deep fluency in platform product thinking including developer experience, API contracts, and integration patterns.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Ability to communicate technical architectural tradeoffs with engineers and translate platform investment into business value for leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, data scientists, and operations.
  • Proficiency in human-centered design, business focus, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership.
