The Manager, Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) joins the customer-facing security advisory team to serve as a trusted advisor for strategic customers. Required expertise includes cloud and SaaS security architecture, identity and access management, and data protection. You must demonstrate proficiency with major frameworks such as SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS to resolve complex regulatory questions.

What you'll do

Serve as a trusted security advisor to customer CISOs and risk leaders for strategic accounts.
Lead complex security, compliance, and risk reviews for customers in regulated industries.
Present Salesforce's security architecture and compliance posture during executive briefings and workshops.
Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to address security and privacy contractual requirements.
Guide Sales and Solution Engineering teams on security questionnaires, audits, and escalations.
Develop customer-facing security documentation and enablement materials.
Synthesize customer feedback into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, and Security teams.

What we're looking for

You have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security architecture, risk management, or compliance within a global enterprise or cloud/SaaS environment.
You have significant experience working directly with enterprise customers on complex security, compliance, privacy, or risk matters, including presenting to CISOs and CIOs.
You have strong knowledge of cloud and SaaS security architecture, identity and access management, data protection, and frameworks such as SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
You can translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and executive audiences.
You have experience supporting customers in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Public Sector (preferred).
You have worked within a Business Information Security Office, Office of the CISO, Customer Trust, or similar customer-facing security organization (preferred).
You have experience with security architecture reviews, customer audits, contractual security negotiations, or enterprise risk assessments (preferred).
You hold a relevant industry certification such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or an equivalent cloud/security credential (preferred).
