Manager, Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) serves as a trusted security, compliance, privacy, and risk advisor to large strategic customers within the Office of the CISO team. This role involves partnering with internal teams like Legal, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex regulatory questions for clients in regulated industries such as Financial Services. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading executive briefings on cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, and AI security risk while developing customer-facing documentation and enablement materials. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity, cloud security architecture, and risk management within a SaaS environment. Required expertise includes navigating major frameworks such as SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS. Candidates must be able to translate technical requirements into actionable guidance for both executive and technical audiences.
Serve as a trusted security advisor to customer CISOs, CIOs, and risk leaders for strategic accounts.
Lead complex security, compliance, and risk reviews for customers in regulated industries like Financial Services.
Present Salesforce's security architecture, controls, and compliance posture during executive briefings and workshops.
Lead strategic discussions regarding cloud security, identity management, data protection, and AI security risks.
Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to address security and privacy contractual requirements.
Guide Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams through customer questionnaires, audits, and escalations.
Create customer-facing security documentation and enablement materials for internal and external use.
Synthesize customer feedback into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, and Security teams.
What we're looking for
You must have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security architecture, risk management, or compliance within a global enterprise or SaaS environment.
You must have significant experience working with enterprise customers on complex security, compliance, privacy, or risk matters and presenting to executive leadership.
You must possess strong knowledge of cloud/SaaS security architecture, identity and access management, data protection, and frameworks like SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
You must be able to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear guidance for both technical and executive audiences.
Experience supporting customers in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Public Sector (preferred).
Experience working within a Business Information Security Office, Office of the CISO, Customer Trust, or similar customer-facing security organization (preferred).
Experience with security architecture reviews, customer audits, contractual security negotiations, or enterprise risk assessments (preferred).
You hold a relevant industry certification such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or an equivalent cloud/security credential (preferred).
