Manager I, Engineering, Zero Trust Networking

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of software engineers through clear expectations and career development.
• Partner with senior engineers to set the technical direction and roadmap for secure service connectivity.
• Lead the development and adoption of identity-based authorization, TLS/mTLS enforcement, and network-segmentation.
• Create straightforward security capabilities through secure defaults, policy abstractions, and migration tooling.
• Maintain high standards for reliability, performance, and safe production rollouts including testing and observability.
• Align priorities with Fabric, Security, and production-infrastructure partners to deliver cross-team improvements.

What we're looking for

• You have experience leading and coaching software engineers through feedback and career development.
• You have built and operated distributed systems, backend infrastructure, or internal platforms in production.
• You understand networking and security fundamentals.
• You have experience leading complex infrastructure changes or migrations with a focus on rollout safety.
• You can communicate clearly and build productive relationships with engineers across multiple locations and time zones.
• You can partner with senior engineers to set technical direction and deliver a roadmap for secure service connectivity.
