Manager, Engineering - Endpoint Security

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day work for engineering teams while ensuring projects align with organizational policies and goals.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D leadership to define and execute the 6-month product roadmap.
• Oversee the full software development life cycle and ensure compliance with ISMS regulations.
• Remove technical and operational blockers to ensure team members deliver high-quality features on time.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and champion the adoption of secure coding standards.
• Provide career coaching, conduct one-on-ones, and manage professional development for team members.
• Manage administrative tasks including employee compensation, vacation time, and training budgets.
• Lead recruitment efforts to hire full-time and co-op employees for the engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• You must have 8 years of experience in software development or a related role.
• You must have a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience in software development management or engineering leadership.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates must have a background in networking, security, or distributed systems.
• Experience with multi-platform operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux is required.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is required.
• Skills in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ruby are required.
• This position may require authorization to receive technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
