What you'll do

Design and implement machine vision systems for industrial automation and quality inspection.
Select, test, validate, and maintain core vision components like cameras, lenses, and lighting.
Install and commission vision systems on active production lines.
Investigate and resolve vision system errors using root-cause analysis methods.
Train production staff on the daily operation and maintenance of vision equipment.
Integrate inspection systems with industrial controls like PLCs and robotics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Robotics, or a related discipline.
2+ years of hands-on experience or academic project work involving machine vision systems or manufacturing environments.
Basic familiarity with industrial hardware ecosystems like Cognex, Keyence, Basler, or Sick.
Foundational coding skills in Python, C#, or C++.
Basic understanding of camera selection, lens optics, lighting techniques, and sensor calibration.
Basic knowledge of how vision systems interface with industrial controls like PLCs and robotics.
Academic or internship experience with core vision software like OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow (preferred).
Familiarity with Git version control, 3D imaging techniques, factory automation software, or IIoT protocols (preferred).
Possession of an active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance (preferred).
