Machine Learning Scientist 5, Localization

What you'll do

• Build causal and machine learning models to evaluate the impact of localization algorithms.
• Define and execute roadmaps for measuring localization member impact using Causal Inference tools.
• Train supervised machine learning models for specific localization use cases.
• Guide the development of localization algorithms as a strategic partner for researchers and engineers.
• Refine and scale research findings in partnership with business leaders and product managers.
• Present research findings and data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the company.
• Serve as a regional expert to educate and connect with global regional offices.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of relevant experience with Causal Inference and Machine Learning applications.
• Proven track record of researching and leading Causal Inference, Machine Learning, and AI Evaluation methods.
• High proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
• High proficiency in Causal Inference methods such as propensity score matching and double machine learning.
• High proficiency in Machine Learning including Supervised Learning and LLM Evaluation methods.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen.
• Ability to take ownership and thrive with minimal oversight and process.
• Alignment with Netflix culture.
