Machine Learning Manager, Siri Speech

What you'll do

• Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers and researchers focused on speech technology.
• Drive the development of machine learning models for Siri's voice and intelligence features.
• Define technical strategy and roadmap for products across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS.
• Ensure all AI products adhere to responsible AI standards and safety protocols.
• Guide technical decision-making while empowering team members to take ownership of their work.
• Act as a bridge between the engineering team's output and broader organizational goals.
• Oversee the development of text-to-speech models and other speech-related technologies.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience leading a software or machine learning team in the speech technology space.
• At least 7 years of experience in a hands-on machine learning role with demonstrable product impact.
• Experience taking ownership of features and the product roadmap.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, and other cross-functional partners.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build long-term relationships across the organization.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, NLP, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with voice talent recordings or other types of speech data.
• Experience building text-to-speech models.
