Machine Learning Engineer, Siri Attention & Invocation

What you'll do

• Develop and advance frictionless voice invocation experiences for Siri across a range of Apple devices.
• Build end-to-end machine learning training and evaluation pipelines.
• Deploy machine-learned models onto mobile and desktop hardware while ensuring user privacy.
• Optimize model performance and error rates on production traffic data.
• Improve ML training infrastructure to increase research efficiency and modeling iterations.
• Develop agile, automated deployment processes that are scalable across global systems.
• Define new metrics to measure the quality of user experience for upcoming features.

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience with scalable machine learning technologies.
• Strong background in machine learning and deep learning, preferably including speech recognition.
• Proficiency in deep learning/machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, and Python.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in optimizing, automating, and scaling end-to-end systems.
• Analytical skills to conduct error analysis and investigate data anomalies.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in product development and understanding of the full software product life cycle.
