Machine Learning Engineer, Strategic Data Solutions

What you'll do

• Translate ambiguous business problems into technical requirements and solvable project segments.
• Design data science-driven solutions using both established techniques and custom models.
• Implement robust real-time and batch decisioning systems in production environments.
• Create reporting tools to monitor decision quality and maintain business metric health.
• Investigate trends and threat impacts to implement agile logic changes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise.
• Share knowledge on novel technologies in machine learning and data engineering to improve team capabilities.

What we're looking for

• Graduate degree with research/work experience in data science or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of practical experience deploying machine learning solutions to answer real-world questions.
• Practical experience implementing data science applications in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Theoretical understanding of machine learning algorithms and their relative strengths and weaknesses (preferred).
• Ability to use a querying language such as SQL to extract insights from data (preferred).
• Ability to think holistically about system structures to anticipate technical, business, and customer impact (preferred).
• Effective communication skills to translate complex concepts into concise, business-focused solutions (preferred).
• Team-oriented skills to facilitate collaboration with business and technical partners (preferred).
