Machine Learning Engineer, Software QA - Creativity Apps joins the Creativity Apps QA team to ensure high-quality iOS and macOS creativity applications. This role involves defining evaluation strategies, creating evaluation scripts and automation, triaging issues, and ensuring high-quality models are integrated into app clients through rigorous testing methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include scripting, parsing data, collaborating with annotation operations teams, analyzing test results, and developing workflow projects for regression testing. The position requires expertise in machine learning algorithms, supervised and unsupervised modeling, computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI. Candidates must be proficient in Python and/or Swift while utilizing LLMs and Generative AI frameworks to automate model evaluation and optimize execution. The role addresses the technical challenge of ensuring end-to-end feature functionality for creative software through meticulous data collection and quality assurance processes.
Define evaluation strategies and scripting for machine learning models within iOS and macOS apps.
Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline model evaluation processes.
Prepare and collect high-quality data sets for model evaluation and testing.
Analyze annotation data and test results to ensure end-to-end feature functionality.
Execute regression testing and manage the bug filing and triaging process to resolution.
Utilize LLMs and Generative AI frameworks to optimize test execution and accuracy.
Develop internal tools and prototypes to improve software quality workflows.
Communicate technical risks and project status updates to various stakeholders.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of industry experience, ideally in quality assurance with a focus on Machine Learning.
Strong comprehension of machine learning algorithms, supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, and generative AI.
Proficiency in Python and/or Swift or comparable programming languages.
Experience preparing and collecting data for evaluation while ensuring data quality.
Experience in prototyping and tools development.
Proficiency in utilizing LLMs and Generative AI frameworks to automate model evaluation and optimize test execution.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a similar field.
Understanding of image/video quality evaluation, color science, SQA methodologies, and iOS/macOS familiarity (preferred).
