What you'll do

  • Research and develop next-generation algorithms for product search, recommendation systems, and personalization.
  • Build scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions from initial concept through deployment.
  • Develop models for Generative AI, including RAG-based systems and transformer architectures.
  • Construct and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines using big data technologies like Spark and SQL.
  • Improve and optimize internal machine learning infrastructure and tooling.
  • Mentor other Machine Learning Engineers on the team.
  • Implement advanced techniques such as Reinforcement Learning, Bandits, and Probabilistic Graphical Models in real applications.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience building data processing pipelines and large-scale machine learning systems.
  • Experience with big data technologies including Spark, SQL, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with a focus on AI coursework is acceptable.
  • Understanding of the machine learning model lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
  • Experience in Recommender Systems, Personalization, Search, Computational Advertising, or Natural Language Processing.
