Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Research and develop next-generation algorithms for product search, recommendation systems, and personalization.
• Develop and implement machine learning models for generative AI and marketing messaging.
• Build scalable, production-ready end-to-end machine learning solutions for retail customers.
• Manage the full machine learning lifecycle from prototyping and feature engineering to deployment and monitoring.
• Improve and maintain internal machine learning infrastructure and tooling.
• Develop data processing pipelines using big data technologies like Spark and SQL.
• Mentor other Machine Learning Engineers on the team.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with data processing pipelines and big data technologies like Spark, SQL, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
• Experience building large-scale machine learning systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Knowledge of the machine learning model lifecycle including prototyping, feature engineering, training, inference, and deployment.
• Experience in Recommender Systems, Personalization, Search, Computational Advertising, or Natural Language Processing.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, transformer architecture, Deep Learning, Bandits, Probabilistic Graphical Models, or Reinforcement Learning.
