What you'll do

Provide system administration support for Linux operating systems including software installation, patching, and file system management.
Analyze and resolve problems associated with operating systems, servers, hardware, and application software.
Perform daily monitoring of interface programs between enterprise systems and review daily logs.
Execute incremental and full cold backups and perform regular system patching.
Implement and maintain Linux Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and firewall configurations.
Manage Ansible servers and scripts to automate configuration and deployment tasks.
Generate performance metrics and usage charts for CPU, disk, and network uptime.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for the Linux library.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have 6+ years of related experience.
Must have 8+ years of experience as a RHEL 7 and/or RHEL 8 Server administrator.
Must have a high school diploma or AA.
Must possess CompTIA Security+ ce and a RHEL 7 and/or RHEL 8 certification.
Must have experience administering RHEL 7/8 Linux servers, including NFS, CIFS, and SMB permissions.
Must have experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef and scripting in Bash, Ruby, Python, or Perl (preferred).
