LIMS Validation Test Lead

What you'll do

• Develop and document risk-based testing strategies for Benchling Validated Cloud implementations and enhancements.
• Analyze and validate vendor-supplied validation packages to identify gaps and recommend remediation.
• Create UAT, functional, integration, and regression test scripts tailored to Benchling workflows.
• Oversee the defect lifecycle using JIRA, including logging, triage, root cause analysis, and closure.
• Ensure all test artifacts align with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and ALCOA++ principles.
• Coordinate and lead offshore testing teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on validation activities.
• Prepare and review validation deliverables including traceability matrices and IQ/OQ/PQ evidence packages.
• Act as the primary client-facing contact for test status, risks, and remediation.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience with 4-5 years as a LIMS Test Lead (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in the GxP SaaS space (minimum).
• Hands-on experience with GxP SaaS validation in regulated life sciences environments.
• Experience with Benchling LIMS (preferred) or similar platforms like Signals, BIOVIA, or LabVantage.
• Hands-on expertise with JIRA and the Xray plugin for test case management and traceability.
• Knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and ALCOA++ principles.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore test teams and serving as a primary client-facing contact.
• Ability to work from a remote location within the United States.
