What you'll do

  • Draft, negotiate, and review construction-related agreements from an owner/tenant perspective.
  • Provide expert legal advice on all phases of construction projects to accelerate timelines.
  • Represent Anduril in negotiations with project stakeholders to ensure optimal terms.
  • Manage and advise on construction claims, disputes, and compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain internal construction contract templates and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws, and defense contracting requirements.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for construction-related aspects of property acquisitions.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in construction law representing owners, developers, or tenants.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating AIA document families and ConsensusDocs.
  • Strong understanding of various project delivery methods like Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build.
  • Ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Proven capacity for proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with government construction contracting regulations preferred.
