What you'll do

  • Manage and advise on construction claims, disputes, and compliance issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain internal construction contract templates and processes for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws, and government defense contracting requirements.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions and major leases related to construction.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience practicing construction law for owners, developers, or tenants.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating AIA document families and ConsensusDocs.
  • Strong understanding of various project delivery methods like Design-Bid-Build and CM at Risk.
  • Proven ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with proactive risk mitigation strategies.
