The Learning & Growth Leader at Microsoft Security is a senior-level position within the Executive Office of the EVP, responsible for developing a comprehensive learning ecosystem and culture for Security Engineering. This role involves designing and delivering live and on-demand curricula that enhance technical fluency, AI-augmented security practices, and leadership skills, ensuring practical applicability to daily challenges faced by engineers. The incumbent will also build feedback mechanisms, develop growth tracks for customer-facing engineers, and foster Communities of Practice across key disciplines, focusing on producing reusable artifacts and best practices. Additionally, the role entails providing operational support for Inclusion Communities to ensure equitable programming that reinforces belonging within the organization. Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in learning & development, community building, and technical curriculum design, along with a strong understanding of how engineers develop capabilities through practice and peer engagement.
Design and deliver a live and on-demand curriculum for Security Learning.
Ensure learning programs are practical and immediately useful to engineers' daily work.
Develop systems thinking and agile leadership tracks for different engineering roles.
Build Communities of Practice that produce reusable artifacts and best practices.
Provide operational infrastructure for Inclusion Communities within Security Engineering.
Coordinate with senior leadership on strategic direction for Inclusion Community programming.
Design growth paths from entry through senior levels for customer-facing engineers.
What we're looking for
10+ years of experience in learning & development, community building, or technical curriculum design.
