As a Research Intern at the AI Frontier Lab within Microsoft Research, you will join a team of leading scientists and engineers dedicated to advancing agentic model capabilities. Conduct research on reinforcement learning to enhance logical reasoning in AI agents.

What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in or accepted into a bachelor's, master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or related STEM field.
At least 1 year of experience with deep learning and large language model training.
Proven expertise in language model pre-training, post-training, or reinforcement learning.
Demonstrated ability to develop original research and perform hands-on work collaboratively.
Strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML.
Expected to submit at least two reference letters for the internship application.
