Leader, Semiconductor Product Engineering joins the Optics Operations Product Engineering team to lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing optical transceiver components and modules. Required expertise includes semiconductor fabrication, wafer sort, advanced packaging, Statistical Process Control, and Six Sigma. Lead an engineering team to deliver semiconductor wafer products meeting Cisco quality and performance standards.
Drive yield and quality improvements by implementing Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM/DFx) principles from silicon to high volume manufacturing.

What we're looking for
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optical Physics, Photonics, or related engineering fields.
10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in mmWave, DSP, or Silicon Photonics as a technical lead.
5+ years of direct people leadership experience.
Technical expertise in semiconductor fabrication, wafer sort/probe testing, and advanced packaging (2.5D/3D, flip-chip, optical interconnect).
Proven mentoring skills to develop engineers across career stages and foster accountability.
Mastery of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments, Six Sigma, and yield management software like JMP or Spotfire.
Experience managing technical deliverables with leading foundry ecosystems and OSAT partners.
Experience with Python, machine learning libraries, or enterprise AI tools (preferred); strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills (preferred).
