As a Lead UI Engineer on the Risk Technology team, you will play a key role in building the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform. This platform provides standardized deployment strategies, common services, and monitoring for all wholesale credit risk technology. You will design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable products by developing high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and creating architecture artifacts for complex applications. Your daily work involves troubleshooting technical problems, collaborating with multiple teams to meet business requirements, and driving the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices. The core technology stack includes Javascript, Typescript, React, and Spring Boot back-ends deployed on Kubernetes-based platforms across private and public clouds. You will utilize tools like Nx and Maven while ensuring efficient deployments via build servers within a large corporate environment using agile methodologies and CI/CD.
Design and develop secure, stable, and scalable front-end products using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement non-conventional solutions for diverse business needs.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring code meets specific system constraints.
Integrate front-end components with Spring Boot back-ends on Kubernetes-based private and public cloud platforms.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Manage the software development lifecycle by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and build server deployment processes.
Improve system stability and efficiency through continuous monitoring and proactive technical troubleshooting.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Solid development experience in Javascript, Typescript, React, or similar technologies.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Solid experience with Cloud deployment solutions such as Kubernetes.
