What you'll do
Lead the design and validation of non-functional requirements for new payment platforms.
Define and execute capacity and performance testing for high-volume payment events.
Ensure robust replay, retry, and exception-handling mechanisms are in place for event-driven flows.
Own permit-to-operate readiness, cutover plans, and early life support models before go-live.
Drive end-to-end observability, SLOs, error budgets, and reduce alert noise in payment platforms.
Conduct chaos engineering exercises to improve recovery processes and reduce operational risks.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience
Over 3 years in application support and Kubernetes platform management
Experience with CI/CD automation, progressive delivery, and reliability-as-code concepts
Strong background in SRE, Production Engineering, or Service Transition in complex environments
Solid understanding of high-value payment systems and their operational risks
Comfortable working in early-stage transformation projects with ambiguous requirements
