TL;DR · Lead System Integration Engineer, Enterprise Transformation

As a Lead System Integration Engineer - Enterprise Transformation, you will join the software and core IT team to design, build, and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines. You will modernize how systems work together by connecting Google Workspace, SaaS platforms, and enterprise AI tools with core business systems through secure, reusable integration patterns. Your daily responsibilities include developing robust, observable integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, scripts, and middleware services while managing source-to-destination data mappings and transformation logic. You will utilize Python, Git-based version control, and various automation frameworks to ensure seamless interoperability. The role focuses on the technical challenge of migrating legacy Microsoft-dependent workflows into scalable, Google-aligned patterns. You will also manage coexistence models during phased migration waves, ensuring continuity for historical data while navigating complex identity, security, and information lifecycle management requirements across the enterprise.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and integration patterns connecting Google Workspace, SaaS platforms, and enterprise AI tools.
  • Develop reusable services, accelerators, and reference templates to standardize connectivity across the organization.
  • Build robust integrations using APIs, webhooks, scripts, and middleware while ensuring high observability and error handling.
  • Modernize legacy Microsoft-dependent workflows into scalable, Google-aligned integration patterns.
  • Manage coexistence models to ensure seamless interoperability between legacy systems and new platforms during migration phases.
  • Align all integration designs with corporate data standards, identity guidelines, and security policies.
  • Create technical documentation including design maps, operational runbooks, and handover materials for long-term system sustainment.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to product teams during the implementation and hypercare phases of new integrations.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, software engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise application integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Production-level proficiency in Python and core scripting or automation frameworks.
  • Extensive experience building enterprise-grade integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware solutions, and ETL logic.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based integration patterns, modern application architecture, Git version control, and multi-system debugging.
  • Foundational knowledge of enterprise authentication, authorization, identity integration, and access-control frameworks.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migrations or Google Workspace administration is preferred.
