What you'll do

Design and develop specific product components based on senior engineer requests and business requirements.
Create and implement extensible, maintainable code using established coding patterns and best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and address pull requests.
Identify testing techniques and create test plans to resolve software defects.
Respond to incidents during on-call rotations by troubleshooting issues and deploying root-cause fixes.
Informally lead junior engineers in understanding requirements and solution development.
Participate in project estimation and escalate issues that may cause delivery delays.
Apply debugging tools to verify assumptions and proactively flag potential issues.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Must have at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
Must have 4 years of work experience with a PhD.
Must have 13+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in developing and/or implementing web-based or mobile applications (preferred).
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions (preferred).
Experience in applying secure coding practices and managing code quality (preferred).
Experience in mentoring junior engineers (preferred).
