What you'll do

  • Design and build critical technology solutions for Chase AI components like Agent Operating Memory and Domain Agents.
  • Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain complex algorithms across various systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts to ensure software development meets specific technical constraints.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while promoting best practices in software engineering.
  • Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
  • Ensure all software solutions comply with security, privacy, and financial regulatory requirements.
  • Implement advanced LLM patterns including RAG, function calling, and safety guardrails for agentic systems.

What we're looking for

  • Experience building agentic systems using LLMs or SLMs.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building complex scalable applications or agentic systems.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining MCP servers and building MCP-compatible tools/adapters.
  • Proficiency in coding with Java and Python, including the ability to work across both languages.
  • Proficiency building production services using Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Security, Cloud) or Python frameworks like FastAPI/Flask.
  • Solid AWS background including ECS, EKS, Docker containerization, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Strong API design skills (REST/OpenAPI, gRPC) and experience with observability stacks like Splunk or Prometheus.
