What you'll do

Lead end-to-end cloud networking architecture for enterprise platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Define and govern reusable network architecture standards, patterns, and reference designs for internal and customer-facing solutions.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Translate business requirements into secure, production-ready architecture blueprints and implementation plans.
Own technical risk management for cloud networking, including identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
Coordinate remediation plans and evidence collection to close audit, regulatory, and cybersecurity findings.
Support major incident response and problem management for network-related outages and root-cause analysis.
Mentor engineers and architects while contributing to roadmap planning and delivery governance.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Significant experience in cloud networking and enterprise network design in regulated environments.
Deep expertise in routing, switching, BGP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, NAT, proxies, load balancing, and zero-trust principles.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native networking services, hybrid connectivity, and designing architectures for security and resilience.
Proven track record of managing and remediating technology and cybersecurity risks from audits and control testing.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Python.
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
